We're raring to go too. I guess it is time to dig out the teardrop from the garage.

I wish we could arrive on Thursday but we'll be rolling in under the cover of darkness on Friday.

Gary and I will be having our breakfast for everyone on Saturday morning .... anyone wanting to help will be appreciated. WOOHOO 2 weeks till Beavers Bend................

Charles needs to get this teardrop finished
Our daughter has been here for 3 weeks and heads back to Germany tomorrow and I have TONS of stuff to get done in a short amount of time.
I have to sew the canvas for the teardrop as well as round up all of our camping gear and get it packed as well as the back of the truck.

Get it all wrapped up folks..................

Since this will be our first BB gathering, do we have an assigned spot? Do we tell the camp host we are with the gathering and they tell us where to go?

They do have us there under Modisette. I do know they are not reserving specific spots. First come, first serve. For a price (chocolate),I could save a spot for you!

Jeff, I always think it feels weird to just pull into the park, pass up the login station and go right to the loop and pull in where ever you want, but it is really cool because that is exactly what you do!

Linda, I hope Charles will get the teardrop done in time, at least he is retired, I am trying to do this between a full time job and making time for a new girlfriend! She is ready and willing to help though which is nice. I will be taking a day off next week to focus only on the teardrop, the other 4 days I have left will be half days each if that, and it will probably rain too!

Tiny Tow and 2bits are correct and it is so nice just to drive in and pick your site.

For all the newbies,
When you arrive just drive on past the park host (if they come out they will see you are with the teardrops)
If you arrive on Thursday don't worry about paying the host. Last year I kept up with Thursdays arrivals and paid for them with Saturday's balance.
I try to collect any $ due by Saturday morning so I don't have to spend all day collecting funds.
All sites have "Modisette" reserved so make the circle, pick the site you like and set up.
Saturday evening we have Pot Luck dinner and take a group picture.
There are usually several campfires going through out the circle so just mingle around and visit.

Thomas. Charles will get the teardrop finished. I think for the most part it is on both of us now. As soon as I get home today from taking Cassidy to the airport we will get busy on the canvas. And yes Charles is retired but works for himself now so he is "busy" all the time and the teardrop is not at the top of the to do list.

by my self but sound like there will be openings. Anyone have an address or GPS cordadance for the camp
site loop? Maybe a over head google earth shot (screen capture) for the Newbie who gets lost easily.

I’ll bring the denaros with me.

Yayyyy glad you can make it. We still have a couple of available sites so you will have one all to yourself. I will get you on the list and you can pay me after you get set up.

Beavers Bend is 6 miles north of Broken Bow on 259A. Just follow the signs.
When you come to the stop sign inside the park ( office and store on your right) stay to your right and pass the restaurant and store (on left), you will cross over the creek and see cabins on your right and play ground on the left. You will turn left into the buckeye campground.
There are plenty of signs.
