I sure hope the rain will stop. :rainy:

Of the 7 nights we have spent in our tear, it has rained 5 of those nights. Hopefully our luck will change
(or we will hire ourselves out as rainmakers   )

See everyone there tomorrow around 4

I was wondering why the water balloon was getting bigger... and then it hit me.

Almost all of my gatherings have been rain free. So, maybe the luck of the Dog will outweigh the luck of the Cat. ;)

The weather channel says there's a 30% chance tomorrow and 20% chance tomorrow night. :( We've gotten over 8 inches here this week, so we are ready for some sunshine! Hope the cooler temps stick around though. :D

Buy you a tarp and some bungee cords and you'll be just fine - why temp a water test when don't have too?

I have an EZ-Up to keep me from doing a field water test. When it comes time to water test, I want to do it in my driveway with a garden hose.

I plan to head down there in the afternoon. I'm only an hour away, so I don't need to hit the road at the crack of dawn.

BTW, I'm going to go way out on a limb, and predict that there is not a burn ban in effect.

Who has firewood? It should be cool enough for a good campfire.

Hey everyone, Just talked to Woody and he asked me to tell you all that your sites are under the name "Tammy Perkins". Be sure to give this name and your site number at the gate when you check in. See you all tomorrow!

Glen, Loyd Park is owned by the City of Grand Prairie. We camp at Loyd Park several times a year and they have never had a burn ban even when the state parks did. We are bringing plenty of firewood and starters which will probably wind up at Danny's site

We would have to soak the damn campground with gasoline to set it on fire. We could have a bonfire they can see from space, and it won't catch the woods on fire. Yes, there will be a campfire or two, and the most fun campfire will be where the little red jug is.

I really SO much need to go camping.

I'll see you guys sometime tomorrow.
