Just wondering if the last weekend in March will kick off the 2nd Annual Beavers Bend Gathering. We had a really great time and hope there is enough interest to make it a yearly event. Hopefully someone is up to the challenge of organizing the gathering.

That sounds great to me and Cindy. Beaver's Bend was great! Let's all do it again. Maybe without the rain this year.

Sounds good to us. I don't mind organizing this event again. I should have all of the info from last year. I will call Beaver's Bend Tuesday and see how many sites are available. If you all remember last year we only could book a few sites and then a group cancelled and allowed us more sites. So me might have to go with a weekend that has plenty of sites.

I would like to inform anyone interested in going that if you plan to attend and send us the deposite for the first night and decide not to stay the second night you are obligated to pay for the second night. Last year we had 1 teardropper that could not stay the second night and gladly paid for it. We had another camper that did not stay the second night and did not pay for their second night when I was collecting $. A tent camper offered to take care of those costs.

Will post info as soon as I have it.

We'll be watching for a date and may try to join in again. We had a good time last year and really enjoyed meeting everyone. No rain would be better!

If Beavers bend is going to be in March I'd better leave the TV and get busy in the garage. With the Kampmaster gone I have to build a new trailer from scratch in 3 months. I just got the frame finished up yesterday and will get it to the blaster this comming week and I'll order a new axle and some 10ft plywood on Tuesday. By the time the axle arrives I should have the frame painted and the floor ready to start the Modernistic replica. I'll be there finished or not . So anyone else that's sitting around procrastinating better get to the garage also. Hope to see 30-50 campers at this years gathering.

Ok everyone...Last year we had 17 sites at Beaver's Bend.
There are 25 sites available for March 30 - April 1.
I will be glad to take care of the reservations but I need to know how many plan to attend first. I don't mind paying for a few extra spaces as there will be last minute plans for some.

When I make reservations I will have 2 weeks to collect the deposite from those planning to attend. Sites are $18 per night and I would need those planning to attend to send their deposite for the first night.

For those of you that will be tent camping...A tent can share a site with a Teardrop for $5.00 or $6.00 (I think this is correct).

I need those that are definately attending to pm me. I would really like to make reservations no later than Jan 2, 2007 before the sites fill up.

Thanks! I'll let you know as soon as I know for sure. I'm thinking I should be able to make it, and I've been wanting to hit that park for awhile.
