A post in another section got me thinkin. Uh oh!

Actually, there are a few Saturday evening car shows (AKA Cruise Nights) in the DFW area that I go to from time to time, and it occured to me that we should get a handful of TDs together at one of these shows to expose some folks to the TD lifestyle.

Anyone interested? I know ALL the organizers due to my job, and I know they would love to have us. And, they are a lot of fun.

Post up if you want to give it a go.

The guys in Phoenix have two a week they attend. The last one I went to there had to be over two hundred cars/trucks and at least 4 teardrops.

There was a Saturday night cruise every week here in Round Rock. Everybody would congregate at the parking lot of the "Antique Mall". They built an Outback in the parking lot and they complained that the cruisers were using up the parking spaces. I have no idea where they meet now.

Damn Outback restaurant! Way to ruin something that was going on for years before you came along.

Cindy and I think this is a great idea. We're interested, she said something like this would inspire her to put a hitch on her camaro.

Here is a link to Texas Cruise Nights. I saw a few that were not correct, so double-check.

http://www.cruisintimes.com/cruisenights.html

We were a sponsor for the Grapevine Cruise Night run by the SVT Club, and the Plano Cruise Night run by the Performance Buick Club (it moved to Chucks's in Richardson when that Plano Chuck's shut down).

Those two are good shows, they are on Saturdays all summer, and they are nice folks. One is always on the 3rd Saturday, and the other on the 4th Saturday. Chucks's makes good burgers, too.

I could set up something in advance for those.

If anyone else knows of some good cruise nights, post up.

I think it would be cool to show off our TDs, and probably snag a few new TD-ers.

There is a Chuck's Cruise Night sponsored by the North Texas SVT Club on Saturday, May 26th. It is at the Chuck's restaurant in Grapevine.

Who is interested in taking some TDs to this event?

It is a good event. I've been many times in years past, and they get a good crowd, and some nice, and diverse, car entries.

POST UP!

(Mike, it's past the 15th of May in Texas. If the vehicle has a working AC you'll see one of those puddles -- everywhere it stops -- through about the 15th of November.) :fan:
