We've been home a little over an hour. Lucas is already gathering parts for his new 'project'. I don't know whether to thank you for all your patience with Lucas and Tyler this weekend and their fascination with your 'trike', or just drive back down to Texas and smack ya! Oh well, I guess if they're busy building something, they won't have time to get in trouble for anything else!

You can do either - or both.

I'm glad they enjoyed it. I debated whether I should bring it or not as I knew I'd be spending my riding time on the mountain bike. I'm happy they enjoyed it. :D

I just checked the mileage on the trike, and it looks like a little over 11 miles was put on it around that camping loop. Awesome!

I didn't use any plans. I just kind of winged it. Check out this website: http://www.fleettrikes.com. He has a ton of good info and a very nice help section. I created mine using his pictures of the Flying Cross design.

I have some more build pics I can send, or link to a zip file of them if you're interested.

Just tell the wife you're building it for her.

Steve that is great job on the trike construction. It gives me ideas! The photos of your build help explain the process. I have looked at a trike several years ago but got busy and forgot now you remind me. Now all them spare bicycle parts I have be hording may have a use!
