South Central to Minden - convoys

Okay, a discussion just for those around the South Central group (OK/TX/AR/LA/MO... ) to figure ... who's leaving when? what day? staying overnight halfway? meet up where and convoy?

I noticed from Oklahoma City to Minden is 474 miles and straight up I-35 then 135.. I know Sonetpro is planning to come in and stay at a lake near Ponca City , then depending on the day and time.
Me and Karol from Konawa will likely meet up in OKC early WED. and head up to meet Sonetpro....

get the idea....?

Would Ponca City , OK be a spot that Tulsa / Broken Arrow area folks might want to meet with us?

Cindy and I are looking at leaving early Saturday morning and driving to Raton, NM. Next day to Glendo State Park in Wyoming. Then Custer State Park in South Dakota. Then Minden early Thursday morning.

If anybody is going to take the whole week off for Minden, why not join Dave and I. We are going to travel up from NM on Sunday to Wyoming for Sunday night. Then we will stay 2 or 3 nights at Custer State Park in South Dakota. Anybody else game? Let's make a vacation out of it.

Cindy .... I'd love to , but the house goes up for sale next week, and oldest boy leaves for Basic training in Virginia sometime soon... and gas prices are whoa !!!!!!!!!!!!

DRIVE FROM OKC...... I hope me and Karol can meet here in OKC very early on Wednesday morning, get to Ponca City in a couple of hours and meet up with Sonetpro and any Tulsa folks.. then head north to catch Keith in Wichita and on up toward Salina

I will be gone for a few weeks. Oldest daughter and I are leaving for Europe Tuesday. Just make some plans with everyone else, and I'll get in touch with you when I get home. I have reservations for Wednesday til Sunday at Minden, so I was thinking about driving straight through on Wednesday. But whatever everyone else is doing is ok by me.

Well I thought a GTG is at Minden Tx but it in Nebraska we can't make it there this year probly next year .

Night Ranger, the ITG is only ever other year. So, the next one will be June 2009.
