I am new to using this form of communication. I just finished in July 07 my
teardrop. I would like information from Arkansas tear droppers. If there is a Petite Jean gathering I would like information on this as well.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum Larry,
We had a gathering at Petit Jean State Park in July 07.
To my knowldege there is not another one planned as of yet.
But you never know where we will decide to have a gathering.
There will be one in Louisiana in October
Texas gatherings in November and probably December

keep an eye on this section and stay in touch.

Welcome Larry! There're a few of us here in "The Natural State". I'm in Benton, Diverguy is in Cabot, Hap is in Greers Ferry, ARKPAT is in Ft Smith area, Dwayne is somewhere around Wynne, Kit76 is in Batesville, & there're probably others I don't know about or have forgotten ;) . We had a great turnout for the Petit Jean camp-out the last weekend of July even tho it was kinda hot  . We're gonna have a really big 'whingding' at Lake Bistineau SP near Shreveport, LA Oct 26-28. It'll be the second annual gathering there & if last year was any indication, you don't wanna miss it  . It's Madjack's (one of the forum administrators & all around TD guru) birthday bash & we've nearly got the entire campground reserved. Take a look at the thread in this (South Central) section & make plans to attend if possible. We'll probably have another at PJ next year but there'll be several gatherings within a few hours drive 'tween now & then, just watch the South Central section. You might even want to start one yourself 8) .

Welcome Larry to the Forum.

Sorry I was late getting back to you about your questions It looked like you have found some answers. As for the Petit Jean Park Camp-in. We will try to do it again next year.

We will see as it gets closer to that time next year and get some input from the members for the next gathering and the number of people that will be at the gathering ( make sure we have enough sites available ).

Now everyone is getting ready for Inks and LCG II a few weeks away. :worship:

Looks like Linda and Nobody covered the answers. :)

Also I you are interested in suggesting a place look at Suggest a Gatheringon the main Index.

Otherwise keep checking the South Central part of the Forum.
