Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Greeting all
We are Stewarts and are new to the site. We are fans of tiny trailers and built our second version. Construction photos can be found at www.txstewartfamily.com. let us know what you think. Anyone from east Texas area? (Tyler, Longview, Marshall, Carthage?)

Ya'll have a few in your neck of the woods.
Come to the big bash in Oct and you will meet quite a few Texans with tears or tiny trailers. It's not far from you. We are all going to teach the cajuns how to BBQ.

No braggin, just fact. If anyone knows anything about smoken BBQ, then you know it's from Texas.

Just a little smoker from Texas for a small get together. Reckon them Cajuns have anything like this.

Well, Gary and I (Trudy) arent from Texas ... we are from Missouri where good barbeque really comes from. We do camp alot with the guys from Texas ... even camped at Tyler last year and it was beautiful. Welcome to the group ... you wont find a better bunch of folks ... and we always have room for one more family. :applause:

I've actually seen that BBQ rig. It was stopped at a roadside bar in between Austin and Elgin. I dunno if it was hired for the ROT Bike Rally but it was that weekend.

Hello Stewarts and welcome to a wonderful place.

We are not too far from you. Charles and I are in Lufkin.

As a matter of fact I just drove through Carthage twice today.

Took our 23 year old Birthday girl to gamble in Shreveport.
No big win though. The Horseshoe is just a little more well off now that we left.

We bought a new 4-wheeler in Carthage a few months ago too.

Dimensions of the weekender trailer are 6’2” wide by 8’ long x 4’ feet high and very roomy inside. Our first trailer was a scant 5’ X 6’ X 3.5’. It worked well but a bit cramped. It was a real learning experience. If anyone in the Texas area needs foam for mattresses, I found a good supplier in Tyler that will cut and ship foam of any dimension or firmness: Tyler Foam Product

You have a trailer kinda - almost like the one I'm building. The size of the one I'm working on is 5'-9" wide by 10'-0" long by 4'-0" to 6'-6" high.

LCGII Oct26-28 2007 Whew – Just made it in! The sites are filling up. Wejust reserved for site # 65. This will be our FIRST group gathering- and so close to home! Tip: you may have to call the reservation line – Reserve America website is not listing the inventory for the dates of the gathering. Site 67, 1,2, 3, 5, 6, 9 are still available – hurry up while supplies last! Can’t wait

Hey Rocky,

That rig was in Vegas for a Nascar race a few years back. I don't remember what I ate, but I remember the smoker! It was amazing.
