Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Today was kind of a slow day so it’s time for a road trip. Cindy and I sneaked downed to Lake Bistineau State Park for a little surveillance (code word for teaser picts). First a few tips:
1. The road conditions are excellent and the park is easy to find, just follow the signs.
2. Since we are not staying in Camp # 2 the travel Advisory does not apply
3. Get gas and supplies at I-20 exit 33. There is a Pilot and Texaco truck stations and mini – mart. The only places I could find closer was about 4 mile from the park --Tina’s. However not knowing the area very well, we didn’t travel away from the park
4. The park does carry ice
5. Sites are just the right distance from each other and even from our site @ 65 we can see the party site

Bathrooms – Wife said plenty of stalls – must be a woman thing?

...thank you Starleen...the last pic in your photbucket album is one of the non-reservable overflow site and the second to last one is the screened pavillion that Ranger Tom has donated for our usage should we need it because of bad weather...the park and ground are beautiful, aren't they...y'all have a taste so if you haven't commited to coming, the pics should help you to make up your mind to comeon down to what is becoming one of the bigger gatherings in the country...yah cher, we be passin' a good time...aiieeeeeeeee

You know how to make a guy home sick. The slot behind the one in the fourth pic is Trudy and mine's home away from home when ever we head south. Was Pam and Richard the campground hosts still there?

One of them thar decks will make a nice stage for MaryK to perform the Teardrop Dance on. I'll bring a bottle of "dance fuel" for her.

That is a reallly gorgeous place! It makes me feel even worse that we can't come. MJ, I hope we will be around for next year. We will be thinking of all of you there having a good time. I hope you will take just a minute of your time and think of us poor souls that are missing out on the best event of the season.
