Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Okay... is it just me?...... I'm sure there's people doing some work on their teardrops to be ready for the grand event , or working on getting their door prizes ready.... or just working to get the gas money and the time off.

EDIT::::::: 15 DAYS TO GO !!!! Well, 14 for me ... leaving OKC early that Thursday cuz this is the party of the year in the South Central group..... more like a dadgum family reunion , but no drunk uncle and more kissin cousins !!! Dguff will hopefully make it to OKC with no problems, then we'll meet up with Victor Star around Tulsa Town and convoy to the party! Any other folks around Eastern Oklahoma or Arkansas border wanna join us?

13 Days..... yes, I'm excited. Itchin to get outta town, and away from some recent stress. You know I'll be there with my bling bling even if the Jewel Box doesn't have all those finishing touches. OH! and getting the door prize together today . The leaves are starting to change a bit here in Oklahoma so I hope anyone coming thru E. Okla/ W. Arkansas gets a pretty show. I'm looking forward to the return trip back thru the Ouachita mtns !!!

MONDAY and it's getting closer !!! Only 11 more days till the party begins, but some of us will arrive at different times on Thursday. How about no organized fancy potluck but let's have a big joint campfire?

It's just a week away !!!! well, for most of us...Just think this time next week some of us will have arrived and others will be packing.... those of us that are there next Thursday will be warming up around the fire .... it'll be so good to see everyone again!

I can't wait!!!!!!

I'm off work for Columbus Day on Monday, so I plan to use the 3-day weekend to get the TD road worthy for LCG!! She won't be completely finished, but hopefully she'll be towable, LOL. I finished the doors last night and I should have the windows built and installed this evening...WOO HOO!

Too much work to do to get excited right now. I'll get excited the week of . . .

I can't wait either !

I'm not road worthy today but will be in a couple of weeks.Trailer frame hauling trash over the weekend. Then I will hook the trailer box back to the frame to work on trailer some more before LCG II.

Oh, YA!!! I'm a getting ready...Although I wish I had more time to come up with some decorations for the Halloween contest. I have to spend my time getting the TD ready instead.

What's an LCG?

ARE WE EXCITED !!!! Everything I do seems to be based on getting ready for LCG!. The Doctors office I work at now has catered lunches everyday and a lot of stuff gets thrown away. I brought home a huge box of plastic knifes/forks/spoons today. Going to get lots of paper plates (actually nice plastic disposable ones), napkins, plastic cups. Nothing is going to the trash without my checking it out. This stuff hasnt been used, its all new. I havent worked there long enough to get vacation time yet ... but it was the one and only condition of my employment .... I got time off for LCG !!!

We are excited and ready to go! Camper is finally finished with it's outside color scheme! Whew. Cindy has been gathering up decorations and I have someone to fill in for me on Sunday – so we can stay the entire weekend.

LCG is Louisiana Cypresswood Gathering, & this'un will be #2, hence LCG-II. Last year wuz #1, hosted by Madjack, & turned out to be quite a party (also MJ's birthday that weekend). Think we had 30-something TD's there & this year looks to be twice as big. We got the entire C/G loop reserved ('cept for a coupl'a strangers ) & may have to double-up a few sites if some extra folks make it as planned. Oughta be a real 'whing-ding' the last weekend of October . Ya really should try to make it down our way then iffen ya ain't tied down to a dog show. Lotsa partyin', fun, 'n good eats, as well as the usual great TD folks

You all are really making me sad........... ..................cause I won't be there.

Eddie and Linda are gonna drink a couple of margarita's for me so if they look like they are a bit tipsy that's why. Saw them a week or so back at Wal-Mart.

I hope everyone has plenty to eat. I'd hate for someone to go to a great teardrop gathering and go away hungry. Hope there's plenty of food.

I had an very profitable weekend and really need to work day and night to replace the merchandise I sold and then some.
