...in talks with Ranger Tom, he has let me know that the "park is ours"...in regards to anyone coming in WITHOUT a reservation...if I haven't matched you up or you haven't matched yourself up, be sure and send me a PM soonest...to those who have been matched up, you will be required to check-in at the Park office, tell them the site # you will be staying at and they will give you a vehicle pass...there will be no extra charge for doubling but I am not sure about an admittance fee(very low if any)

If anyone has an extra table or 2 and could bring them, we could sure use them at the group site for the Fri and Sat night feeds...the same applies to an extra EZUP or other type shelter/cover...

a schedule of "events"...sorta................

Thursday...you are on your own for this one...catch as can around the fire......

Friday...most arrive...we will have a big o'l gumbo ready for ya, come on over around 5PM and havva bowl...this will save anyone from having to cook after drivin'/arrivin'/settin'up...anyone who wishes, is welcome to sit around the fire and share stories and drinks. Tshirts and name tags will be available...this will all be at site#38...
oh yeah....the park is sponsoring a "Haunted Trail" for the adventurous amongst us................

Saturday...breakfast around 9AM with Gary and Trudy...the RAYVILLIANS...this will be at their campsite so all who are contributing to this should have your goodies there before then.
I imagine the rest of the day will be spent, cooking, visiting, siteseeing, biking...lunch and naps are up to you...don't forget the Halloween Decorating contest...Victor Star has done up a beautiful trophy that will be COVETED by all.....

Tony, sez he will set up his magical 'rita machine at site#38, MUCH earlier in the afternoon than he did last year, so drop on by and sample one....we will have T's available untill they sell out...Tony should hav your nametag made if you sent him your info...or at least he should have a Sharpie handy.

We would like to have dinner eady by 5PM, so all cooks and other contributors, please try and have your good ol' goodies to #38 in the nick of time, so we can stuff ourselves before it gets too dark...we are supposed to have 2 golf carts available(spiinernut and Joe) so let us know if youneed a "shuttle"...spinner said something about a trailer and a hayride...but don't quote me on that...

We will collect ballots for "Peoples Choice" and award that prize along with "Best Halloween Decorating" and "Furthest Travelled" We will also see what CaseyDog and his faithfull sidekick MaryK have comeup with for doorprizes.

Once again, Tony's 'rita machine will be operational and all are invited to stay after dinner and enjoy the fire/stories/drinks...as on Fri, the "Haunted Trail" will be going on as well

With well over 100 folks attending, this should be one heck of a blowout...and I for one am looking forward toit....

Madjack, I've got two 6 foot tables we bought just for gatherings. Also the Bluebonnet will be showing "The Creature from The Black Lagoon". Also have "Return of the Swamp Thing" and "Attack of the Killer Tomatoes". For those that were at Loyd Park, the sound has been fixed, there will be no problem hearing the movies.

Jack, I'll bring our little folding table (had it at PJ, think it's 2X4' or thereabouts) & also the Quik Shade shelter. It's a slant leg with 10X10 footprint but only 8X8 canopy.

As the monkey said after backing into the airplane propeller, "Won't be long now!" 8)

We don't have reservations or a confirmed spot, but we'll be there. This will be the first TD gathering with our new teardrop, so we're looking forward to it. The weather looks like it's going to be great and we'll have a full moon Friday night! I'm getting little spooked already . . :frightened:

I'll put you on the map as unknown spot or an orphan.

When are ya'll headed up. we are leaving Friday morning. We haven't decided weather we will go up 59 or up 45 to Buffalo and thru Palestine yet. Palestine is a prettier drive.

Steve,
Sounds good . . . We're planning on leaving Freindswood early Friday morning. We haven't picked a route yet . . last year on the bike we took 59. We'll prolly be about ready for breakfast by the time we get up in your stomping grounds.

I got a PM from Steve (trail of tears) he has a site reserved but isn't shure if they are coming due to a death in the family.
