Casey, Charles and I are trying to decide if we are going. We are talking about a 2 week vacation. Are you going?

Glen you drive too fast. We decided if we went it would take at least 2 weeks. Want to see all the stuff inbetween while we're at it.

We figure at least 3 minimum. Long hike from my house and the wife hasn't ever seen anything between here and there.

Auntie M,
I'm with you...We want to see the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas and what ever is in between. If we go we will come back a different route so we can see more.
Are you guys going?
I must admit Charles might be a lot like CD.. We can make some pretty fast trips sometimes.

I hope all of you come rather you caravan or not. there is a lot to see along the way but as Pam Wright always says about Colorado, this is God's country. Nothing like it anywhere else in the world.

I do REALLY want to do this trip. As soon as I know the dates, I will make myself commit, one way or the other.
Two weeks? I may be able to pull that off. My boss will be a basket-case by the time I return.
You guys interested in doing a caravan of TDs?
I'm up for taking the scenic route, although I've seen Las Vegas more times than I wanted to. The Grand Canyon sounds cool. TD's on Pikes Peak? Go for a record on the Salt Flats -- world's fastest TD?

I took off 2 weeks last time. Took 3 nights to get there 4 nights for the event and 3 nights to get back. Even at this speed, it seemd rushed.
We are planning on going again but there are a lot of "IFs" involved. If we do go this time, we plan on dropping in from the North and possibly taking more time.

I'd LOVE TO !!! Glenn, are you going to pay my gasoline bill?
I get 5 weeks vacation this year, but also have a son's thing near Columbus, GA that I need to go to in the spring so that might cost me.
I need to either hit big at the casino or get the right lottery ticket !!!
Otherwise , I could be a co pilot with some one else???? Or do like the rest of the world and go in debt..... you only live once , right?

Julie, I know where u are coming from on the gas bill. I don't even want to think what it will cost us just to go there and back.
I'm going to start putting a little aside out of each paycheck, house cleanings and eBay sales and any craft shows. We are saving all change also. Change adds up quick.
Charles had been saving quarters since they started making the state ones. He dipped into them for our anniversary trip to the casino. He didn't realize he had several hundred dollars in quarters.

Julie, just take the money you were going to waste on Lottery tickets, and stick it in a jar in the closet. By summer, you'll have gas money.
I need to start putting away gas money, too. It's going to be a big chunk of money.

I have drove 950 miles in one day and felt like I was dragged 900 of it along the way.

I slept 10 hours after that.
With that kinda of distance take two weeks or better three and enjoy the drive.
Sorry I will not be able this year but maybe next year. I may travel out that way sometime during the year to see the sites you mentioned.

Julie,
It takes me approx. 2 1/2 days from Eureka, Ca. to Tulsa. any less than that and you're gonna be deadbeat tired when you get to the IRG2.0.
