I just bought a 5000 btu window unit made by Fedders for $77 at Conn's here in Houston. This is to replace the one that was in my tear when I bought it. I also bought 2 eva-dry E-5000 at amazon they were $23.83 a piece but if I bought $25+ I got free shipping and there was a promotion code for -$10 so net $17.33 each. They absorb moisture and then when "wet" you plug it in and dry it out. I decided to try this after our mattress felt damp after last trip and reading the discussions here.

You'll be camping again before you know it.
I don't think one ever buys everything they need for their teardrop. You can always find new items you can't live without.

I don't think it's quite like a boat as far as pouring money down a hole - but you can do plenty of spending. We enjoy figuring out how not to buy "off the shelf" - that's what makes tears so much fun.

MAN isnt that the truth!!!!!! I cant go into a drug store or wal-mart or a lowes or even Albertsons without finding SOMETHING i just gotta have for my camper. And god help me if its on sale.... ill buy two. hahaha!
