Hey Man
Come on down to Petite Jean II June 20-22. Only 225 miles just down I 40 from you. There will be at least 15 TDs there for you to gather ideas.
You can camp with us in a tent or there are cabins or Mather Lodge.
It will be a great way for you to meet a lot of nice people and gather valuable
research for your project. Petite Jean is a real nice state park on top of a mountain with lots to do. Come on Down!

Welcome to the wonderful world of teardrops , not to mention our beautiful camping group called the South Central !!!!

There are plenty of T Town area folks... ReoRon is in Owasso for one, and my Jewel Box is up there at his place right now. Catoosa Grani in Catoosa of course... Rickxr2 in Broken Arrow as well as jplock.

Very good idea to look at one in person !!!

Lift up the hatch, lay down inside the cabin, crawl and look underneath...

Welcome!!
I live in Owasso and work close to downtown. Currently there is a trailer in both places. Soooo just give me a call or e-mail and come by! Just beware - this is a crazy fun bunch - not attitudes allowed - 'cept good ones.

Well, gotta love the response. Retta and I will be over to jplock's place tomarrow eve to scope out his TD :o and Ron you can bet I'll be calling you too  . I'm not to worried about strange or " a crazy fun bunch" sounds like the folk I get along with the best anyway.
We will try to make the Petite Jean II camp in June 20-22. we just get more exited aboout this the more we talk about it and that's a lot. Last night I had the tape messure out and we were figuring size. And I've been checking on the cost of the parts to build. We aren't sure yet if we want to build the trailer or buy a pre-built unit to build on. Guess we'll figure that out when we get to it.
The best part of this is that we are doing it together and she's part of it with me I really like that. See ya'll later. :D

Welcome you to the world of TTT and Teardrop trailers. Sounds like you are already hooked in getting a trailer or building one. You are about 100 mile west of me and as Larry said come on down to PJ II in June. I was up in Tulsa this last weekend visiting family in Broken Arrow. Then we made a trip to Branson to visit more family but missed connections. Had fun looking around / exploring and the food was great.

I got together with Ron yesterday and got a look at the teardrop in his shop. I think it's oklahomajewel's. very cool. And Ron gave me some good information that will help a lot in the build I ave comming up. Can't wait to get started. After that I picked up my lovley wife and we went over to Phil and Donna's place in BA to get a look at thiers. This was great. Now Retta's getting into this even more. She has her own ideas that she wants me to do. So now we have a size that's 5X10 for shure that way we have room for Susie. And after looking over the pics on the web site and the CDs we got from Phil n Donna we have a style. W will be building a Weekender styled trailer with some mods to fit us and make it our own. Think I may have to build a modle first to get it just the way we want. As soon as that's done I'll get the pics out. Thanks again!

We enjoyed your visit the other day and look forward to seeing your TD build take shape. I think the 5x10 will do nicely for you all. The camping is fun as the building too.

Well hello fellow Tulsan's!! :shake hands:

And hello again to everybody else!!
As some of you remember, the ice storm really put a kink in my progress.
Well, the clean up and repairs to the house and yard are mostly finished $> and it's time to get back to TEARDROP 2.0.

I'm still planning on building a hatchless tear, most likely a 4X8 with a single shelf inside. My cooking will be outside the tear in a small grill....kinda like this.... :Flippin Burger: ....or maybe like this... :campfire: .

Anyways, I'll quit rambling on.

Skip and Retta, whereabouts in Tulsa are you? I'm over on the west side by Crystal City.

Well what a coincidence, I'm in Red Fork also. 3700 block of west 45th. The remains of teardrop no.1 are still in my front yard. Been without power since Sunday morning though. (At work right now.) As soon as I get things cleaned up (again!!) from the latest storm, I might actually be able to get started again.

Well, back to work.
Talk to ya' later.

Jody
