Okay, the Texans are having that shindig at Joe Pool lake near Dallas.

But would the KS/MO/AR/OK folks care to camp somewhere in SEPTEMBER , maybe just west of Tulsa (like Skiatook) or east of Muskogee/Tulsa around Lake Tenkiller? Snake Creek on Tenkiller is pretty booked up already for Sept 26th weekend, but Chicken Creek is still good for that weekend.

Or would another weekend be better? NOT Labor Day .

Julie any of those places you have mentioned are great. Could you make it around the weekend of the 6th of September ( that week - Wednesday to Wednesday ). I will have the whole week off.

I'm going to be picking up a shiny , pretty , new "box" this weekend in Tulsa town and planning on checking out Skiatook Lake and Oologah (Hawthorne campground especially) and maybe another one or two on the way home. If Skiatook or Oologah have an open spot , I'll stay the night and come home Sunday.

I'll figure out a date after that. Might see when kiddos are likely out of school, etc.

Enjoy your trip to "T" town. I wish I didn't excepted the overtime for Sunday or I would be camping also. But come Monday and Tuesday I'm gone camping again.

Seems like I can get more done while I'm camping and working on the trailer.

The camping I will go.
