Okay... anybody wanna camp this coming weekend?
Sequoyah State Park on Ft Gibson Reservoir... more than one good reason....
It's NIC 'S BIRTHDAY that FRIDAY !!!
He needs to get the South Central experience .
Says it a nice park... nestled in the middle of the lake .
And it's a 3 day weekend.
I know , it's a state park and in Oklahoma , you can't reserve those ahead of time. If I go, and get there early as I can Friday , I could go ahead and pay for anybody that will definitely be attending.
What ya think?

wish we could come that far. We are searching for a place to go but so far we havent come up with a plan... We are so far from everything here in Amarillo that everything is a pretty far drive for us

Parents are coming up to see the new house. They are staying with the Navajo tribe in NM this time. Last time it was with the Hualapai tribe in Northern AZ.
Of course, the wife is freaking out because there are a billion boxes in the house. We are nowhere near unpacked and probably won't be by the weekend.

Sorry Julie,
I'll be working in the shop as I have every weekend in October booked with a craft show or a roping event.
Charles will be working on a 28' trailer he bought for the deer lease.
Tearing out the kitchen, bathroom and closet to replace rotten floor.
Then he gets to rebuild it all.
Have fun for us......................

Wish we could come but I'm gonna be in 'Mizzury' with some friends chasin' wily bushy tails Labor Day weekend. Guess I'll see y'all at LCGIII.

Well i couldnt think of any better reason to go. HAHAHA!!! Ill be there. i work friday but i should be off by 4pm ish. Plan to head out there asap for a site. Jewel if you get out there before me and find a couple site will you hook me up?

Okay .... just to clarify if anyone is planning on coming .
I finally talked to Nic just about an hour ago and this is definitely Sequoyah BAY not where the golf course and Western Hills resort is.
This one if you look on google maps.... take 16 south out of Wagoner, OK and then you'll see the E0770 and the road just south of that is listed as Gray Oaks Rd, but the park said it was renamed to 100th ST North. Take that east till you run into the park.
Nic says this one is much cleaner and better bath houses etc than the other one.
I"m gonna get there close to 11 am Friday and will grab a few spots.
