I am now about 65-70 % complete on my new " lil diner ". I am going for the rustic, knotty look. Nothing fancy. Looking foward to LCG IV. May possibly get up to Petit Jean again this year.

I bought a boat trailer to build my Lil Diner on for the reason that my wife is handicapped and finds walking difficult and did not get to walk around and visit very much at LCG 3. I intend to mount a carrier on the tongue to hold her scooter then she will be more mobile. Dulcimer man

looking forward to seeing you again and the new tear at LCG IV.

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, although I haven't added it yet, I am copying your side curtain arrangement on "Itty-Bitty". I took enough pics at LCG III to make sure I get it right!!

It was a simple (see note) EMT frame that had pivot points where it attached to the side of the tear. It would lay flat against the side when traveling. There was a turn fastener at the bottom to keep it from banging in and out while on the road. It was held in the upright position by a simple centrally located prop rod that laid alongside the mattress while traveling. Shower curtain hooks and some material to close it in. Yes my head would be above the top while using it; but I really don't mind if people see my head and maybe my shoulders while I get dressed. Just a little more convenient than trying to put on my pants inside the tear.

Note: I say "simple" because, like his, mine will need some compound curves to clear the fender in the down position. Now I need to find the hardware that was used on the Puffin2's outside shower curtain frame.
