Mena, AR has been reported to have extensive damage. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they do not come my way again. If I am hit for the 3rd time by a tornado, I will be very PO'ed.

Have you got a storm shelter?
Seriously...I hope you make it through ok! What is the deal today...winds, storms, fires....when will the other "Horsemen" show up?

I like that storm shelter. I don't have one, though. So far, so good in Little Rock. Not so great for other parts, though.

Sorry to hear about Mena. Hope all will be well for everyone. We had one last night that came through Shreveport, Bossier, Barksdale AFB, Doyline and headed east. I personally have been through three of them and don't want anymore. Dulcimer man

I like that storm shelter too. Put in a few sky lights and a wood stove and I'd live in it full time.
On a serious note hope you guys survive all the weather hate to lose good friends.

Two deaths, a young mother and her baby girl, here near me in Middle Tennessee today. Also 7 critical injuries and over 35 transported to area hospitals reported so far. Over a dozen homes completely destroyed and close to 100 more with extensive damage.
This has been a rough spring. Just over a week ago we had the roofs ripped off of buildings less than a quarter of a mile away from my shop at work. Now today we have an 8 mile+ path of destruction less than two miles from my shop.
Fortunately all we had was some quarter sized hail and minor damage at home. Work also survived with out damage but we did have some power issues with the equipment and some pea sized hail.
I drove home through some back roads to avoid the main roads that were in the center of the damage. I had to go right through an area Civil War Battlefield that is now a park and there was a very clear path of damage. Trees uprooted and many snapped off at the base. Lots of limbs, insulation, aluminum siding, and other debris along the path. Several power poles were down and the power was off well up the road where the light was out and a Deputy was directing traffic.
I hope everyone else in the path of these cells is OK.

Sorry to hear about anybody's damages and loss. Spring is one of my favorite seasons, except for it being tornado time. Little Rock was spared this time, and I am glad for that. My neighborhood that was hit last year is just now putting the finishing touches on homes that were destroyed last April.
I have really wanted to be camping in my teardrop, but I know that this is not the best time to be out camping. I am a little more hesitant after being hit twice by a tornado. I hope I am never out camping when one gets near.

Sorry to here about the damage in the area. We had penny size hail up here.

We pray for the ones effected by the storms.
