So long South Central, Hello North Central.

Postby SmokeyBob » Sat May 30, 2009 10:20 am

The time has come for us to head North. Some where south of Kansas City. Staying at my Dad's till we find a place of our own.

The trailer I was building the Alegria II on got ran over while we were getting gas in Oklahima :( . Rear half of the trailer bent to the ground, flooring broke in the middle, LED trailer lights broken. Once we get a place of our own I'll start building another one. What can you say, s**t happens.

Now we are just waiting for the great state of Texas to send me another title for our mobile home so I can finalize the sell of our place. Texas doesn't call it a title any more, it's called a Statement of Ownership and Location (SOL). I think the SOL stands for something else  . You wouldn't believe the crap I'm dealing with to get another title :x .

The North Central's gain is the south Central's loss. We have enjoyed camping with you guys at Cedar Hill. We will miss you guys but hopefully will be camping with you in the future at a place between here and there. Wish you the best of luck on your new location. Ed & Ruby

So, I would say you are confirming that the state of Texas got it right.

Best of luck with your move.

I've lived in Kansas most of my life before moving to Texas 30 years ago. So for me I'm just going home.

I've met a lot of very nice people in Texas, and Judith and I will miss them dearly.

Looking forward to seeing my old friends and meeting the new ones. :vroom: :shake hands:

:( Bob and Judith,
My wife and I met you at LCG III last year. Thank your hospitality and answering my newbie questions. We too will miss you, but hopefully our paths will cross again.

Hey Tom and Linda, how you all doing. :)
We still hope to make it to LCG IV. Don't know If I'll have a different camper by then. It's going to be a longer drive. A lot of things to do between now and then. There is a chance we could rent a cabin. We will just have to wait and see.

Hey Jack, same here. 8)

Funny thing about the trailer getting whacked. My brother-in-law did it. He was giving me the money to build it. So you could say he ran over his own trailer.

He is paying for our move to Kansas so building another camper may not be high on his list of things to do.
