Health Concerns

Postby Cindy » Thu Jun 04, 2009 6:39 am

I want to let my teardrop family know that I am having another surgery on JUNE 10th. :( My doctor said that this one will be a 'doosie.' Those were his exact words. This one involves my belly AGAIN and will have a 12 week recovery. :? Doc said unless I have a miracle recovery.
I love you all. I really need your prayers and good wishes.

I posted this as July 10 the first time. It was scheduled on the first available for the doc.

Cindy,

Miracles happen more often than we think.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery, and know that Kerry and I will be thinking of you.

A "doosie"? I've never used that term before in reference to a surgery.

You will be in Cindi and my prayers for a very speedy recovery. :worship:

Hi, Cindy:

It sounds like this surgery is quite complex. You are smart to ask for prayers. That's where your trust belongs. I'll say a few for ya. In fact, I've already done one.

During your recovery, surround yourself with good friends and loved ones and be patient with yourself and others. That 12 weeks recovery time will go by faster than you think.

I'm praying and wishing you well!

I hadn't thought about a bell!! Not a bad idea.
About the 'doosie' comment, this doc has worked on me for 9 years and has some other surgeries to compare.

Sorry to hear this. But, it sounds like you will be recovered in time for LCG4.

Make Dave and Tyler wait on you hand and foot.

Keep us posted.
