Linda, I plan to do a couple of pork tenderloins on the smoker/grill (if there's no restriction on charcoal??). If we aren't able to use the grill, we'll probably do beans 'n ham again.

Won't be long now :twisted: :thumbsup: 8)

Harvey,
I will call tomorrow and double check on fire restrictions as far as cooking goes.

We can keep an eye of the fire danger by going here;

FYI.....Cloudcroft is just a mountain village. It does not have a big grocery store. There is a mercantile with a nice bakery. They have the necessities but you can drop a lot of money in there.

So..........you should stop in Alamagordo if coming in from the west. Artesia if coming in from the east and Ruidoso if coming in from the north.
Artesia, Alamagordo and Ruidoso all have Grocery stores and Wal-marts.

I'm not a very good camp cook. :( Is it ok if I make several different kinds of cookies at home and bring them for the potluck? This is my first gathering and I'm not sure how these things work.

I know guys. I'll post the limitations tomorrow evening. It all depends on the level of fire danger.

So far we've had a lot of rain so hopefuly there will be no fire restrictions. :worship: We had a fire watch this weekend but only because of the high winds. Again I hope all this passes before the gathering. :worship:

I want to make some green chile chicken enchaladas. :thumbsup:

We can all keep an eye on the fire danger before we leave. This will let us all be prepared.
http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/lincoln/fire/

Here is the link to the fire restrictions regarding the stages.
Look to the right of the page under Definitions. You will see Stage I, Stage II and Stage III.

Hopefully they will get more rain.

well, not sure what Mike and I will fix. Kinda depends on the fire situation. If there is no fire, and no electricity............. :roll: it just might be chicken salad sandwiches............ lol

Or good ole PBJ......... :lol: :lol:

Just know that the CASHCOW will certainly be able to put on the ole feed bag as well.... and perhaps whip up something tasty.........
