anything in OKLA next weekend? June 25-28?

Postby oklahomajewel » Thu Jun 18, 2009 1:59 pm

I've got an itch... and vacation days to use.

Not sure whether to go camping (I do have a $25 coupon for a state park) or stay home and do things there.

What are y'all doing?
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!

Going to visit the In-Laws, without a coupon.

I'll be taking a break from the TD build. It's too hot to work in my shop anyway, so I'd just as soon go somewhere that is air conditioned.

oklahomajewel,
Whatever you decide to do, have a good time.

haha ... It's hot here in central Oklahoma too... getting ready to hit triple digits. Gonna have a new AC hookup on my tear, so need to try that out too .

If I go camping , it'll definitely be somewhere near the water and with a swim beach and plenty of cold adult beverages.

I've been working through the heat. My wife and I really want to have our trailer finished for a summer vacation.

There are a couple of benefits to the heat - I've lost 17 pounds AND we're saving money on our electricity bill. We are so accustomed to the high temperatures (now) that we raised our thermostat in the house to 82 degrees instead of 77 where we usually keep it. 82 feels chilly!

Julie; You thinking east or west of OKC ?

I might be interested depending location.

I have done some of the galley this weekend and doors. Working on the inside area then the outside looks later.
My A/C works great ! ! !
That is along as the electric outlet is available ( generator or solar/battreies used for assistance as needed if no commercial electricity is available ).8)
