Hey, Dave and I are going to camp June 11-13 at Meridian S.P. It is a little park with a nice swimming lake with good fishing. They have only 20 sites for $17-20 a night. It is 82 miles from Ennis to the west.
Anybody else want to go?
173 Park Road #7 Meridian TX 76665
Here is a link to the park:

Cindy, we would like to go but we are going to be in Michigan that week. That's one of the parks I've wanted to camp at. Hope y'all have fun.

Can't make this one, headed the other direction the next week. First stop, Pigeon Forge TN for a large truck show and then on to New Hampshire to visit my Nephew and his family. The teardrop will get a workout during that run

I probably won't make this one, I dislike summer camping more than winter. No fire, and too much sweat.
Plan on spending the summer sweating in the garage hopefully finishing up the electrical and galley cabinets on the teardrop, then going inside for a cold shower

Hi guys, I'm new here and currently building my trailer. If I don't have it ready, I might stop by anyway for some pointers. Meridian is less than 30 miles away from me. So I hope I get far enough along to take mine but it would be pretty close to rushing it.
Have fun.

Sorry we won't be able to make it either. We'll be on our way or already be in Boise by then. The TD going to be our hideaway lol.

I just looked and there are no sites at Meridian available for Friday/Saturday.
Dave and I are going on Wednesday and staying through till Sunday. There are sites for Wednesday and Thursday if you wanted to come those days.
Other than that: Come for the day if you can. Its only about 2 hours from Ft Worth.

Hmm that might be a good idea for a one nighter since it is fairly close. I might be able to take the teardrop to work with me and work a half day, and take the next day off. I'll see. I am frustrated after missing camping last weekend...
