North Texas is fine, so far. Very windy, but no storms. I hear is is going to get rough along the Red River tonight -- about 90 miles North of here.

"Transplanted" Okie. 8)

The trucks are fine...it turns out trees are good for something other than freezing and falling on stuff.

I hadn't moved... still in Midwest city and within a mile of Tinker AFB on I-40, east of OKC.

Got hailed on going home from work Monday , about the time twisters were hitting Noble (down by Norman) and there was a tornado spotted out west by Yukon.
I got home to MWC and it was barely raining , but about that time the destruction was out by Lake Stanley Draper and the I-40/Choctaw Road area ... that is about 6 miles east of my house.

Lots of homes damaged or destroyed between here and Tecumseh. The Love's truck stop, Anderson truck stop and a Sonic were destroyed or heavily damaged there on I-40 and then it hit the Harrah area.
6 lives lost total.

You can probably check out www.kfor.com or www.koco.com

The tornado lifted just before it got to us :applause: There was a bit of damage at Arkansas City, KS, our former home, when tornadoes hit there. That's on the KS/OK border. (We're now on the outskirts of Wichita, KS) Glad to see that many of you are OK and have checked in to let us know.

May 16th we had a awful hail storm hit the city

Hail damage everywhere

golf ball to softball size

some places had 6-8" of accumulated hail on the ground

Never seen anything like that in a very long time
