The Trinity Site

Planning a visit to The Trinity Site this weekend Sat. The seventh. The sight is open two weekends a year for visitors on the White Sands Missle Range. We are taking the teardrop and planning on staying at The Valley of Fire Recreational Area Fri. And Sat nights. They are a no reservation camp sight. Good restrooms and showers. This is short notice, but would like to see other tear droppers there! Weather forecast is good. Ronnie

Wow wish I had known about this in time to schedule the trip. That is one site I would like to see.
Maybee next year. Where do find out when it is open?

The trinity site is open to the public on the first Saturday in April and the first Saturday in October. There is a really good website. This has been on my list of things to do for several years, decided it was time. I grew up in New Mexico during the birth of the atomic age. The Valley of Fire Recreation Area is also a very interesting area with a real nice camp area in the desert. No trees tho. Ronnie
