Wow... finally got my logon fixed and back on forum. We ( me and my honey Kenny) have been busy getting my house ready to put on the market.

I know we are going camping the weekend of June 9 but closeby at Sulphur and Lake of the Arbuckles. Then hope to go camping later in June and probably in July too ... anybody else got plans ?

We have a reservation at the Grand Canyon's Mather Point campground in June and a campground near Lake Mary.

Since I like to stay relatively close to home (~250-300 miles), I have to make reservations early.

So, I have 5 more summer trips planned for this year, including Central Calif coast in June, Oregon & Washington in July (exception to short trip rule), and the Sierra foothills in August and Sept.

I'm hoping the insulation I added this year will allow camping farther into Fall and Winter but I haven't planned beyond Sept.

Non too far. We'll be spending some time in northern Indiana, then Mackinac in late summer. THERES a great destination!

Good plans y'all ...

But I am hoping some of the folks in the South Central group will make their plans known and we'll have a gathering sometime soon.
It's hard for me to pick a date since I'm hoping the house sells quick .

Lenora & I will be going to Missouri May 31st for 4 days to meet friends for our annual spring squirrel hunt. We'll be at Schell-Osage Conservation Area NE of Nevada, MO. This will be our 1st break this year. We're 'sitting' a 7mos old great grandaughter weekdays (since the day after Valentines Day) so that's really put a crimp in our activities. Haven't even been able to work much on my Scamp fiberglass trailer. We're hopin' our D-I-L will be back to health soon & can re-assume some of the baby sitting duty. we plan to do several short trip camp outs before LCG in Oct.

We are planning a month-long trip starting in June heading out to California for my sisters 50th wedding anniversary and our 40th. We will be visiting friends and family on the way out and on the way back and will be camping in Big Basins Redwood State Park and Diamond O near Yosemite, Saddlebag Lake over Tioga Pass and then on through Nevada and Utah and up to Yellowstone money permitting. We're also hoping to make a number of the Tearjerkers gatherings.
Latest news on the trailer is that I should have it by Thursday or Friday back from repair.

We are planning on summer camping. Eufaula, Okmulgee, Oolagah and possibly Texoma. Haven't made reservations as we are still waiting on the hitch for my car to arrive..
We also have a 20 day trip starting mid July winding our way from Beggs, Burleson Tx, Waco Tx, Austin Tx, San Antonio, Port Aransas, Lake Jackson, then up to New Orleans and then back home. We live 30 miles south of Tulsa and would Love to attend some gatherings close to home. Have you been to some of the gatherings listed on the board (Louisianna, and I'm assuming Loyd Park is in Tx?) Still reading posts... Would love to meet some fellow TDr's who like to camp.

Nope - but I do have camper plans ready to start after July!

I'm in Texas and looking forward to camping soon only thing I need to do is go to East Tx watermelon festival last weekend in July So post any camping trips around D/FW area and we can try to come meet you.

had some family things to take care of and ill be here for about a year maybe longer if I get a good job

I've camped at my land a few times and probably will some more but it will all be on the spur of the moment if it gets cool enough on a particular night. I left my truck/camper out there so it is ready whenever the desire strikes. I'll have an official gathering once I am moved and it is cooler outside.

Carole and I plan to sneak away every chance we get. Including this coming weekend if the rain lets up.
