Here in Arkansas too Woody. 52 degrees f here this morning when I went to the park to walk; forecast high today is mid-70s. Lenora & I took the Casita last Saturday & went to Hot Springs NP & camped at the Gulpha Gorge NP C/G. Wuz warmer then than now but really enjoyable. We'll hafta skip the coming weekend (other obligations) but next weekend we're going to Lake Ouachita & camp at one of the COE C/Gs. We're also looking forward to the LCG gathering at Lake Bistineau later this month. The cooler weather is welcome but we don't like cold weather camping very much (especially in the TD), hence the trips with the Casita. We expect to get lots of use with it during the next few months...

Hey Woody, Don't know what the temp was here, but I wore a jacket on my walk to work. Planning on going down to Caprock Canyons tomorrow sometime to spend the night, maybe a little hiking on Sunday. Ronnie

Amen!
And I want it dry again. I am beginning to forget what the sun looks like.

Great to hear from everyone.

We have 4 camping trips planned between now and the end of the year plus a trip to Michigan for two weeks. Getting busy for us.

We had a very wet spring here with all the lake over full and lots of flooding. Then it went to the upper 90's and lower 100's for the summer. Most of the state is under a burn ban again. I'm ready for cooler wetter weather.

I feel really bad now about complaining about the weather. There are folks out West without rain and then there are the poor folks in the Carolinas who have their homes flooded and many of life's possessions destroyed. And it sounds like your area is under tough times with the burn ban. I have got to be grateful with the good that I do have.

Very humbling, I just complained in my build thread about heating season having started.

They are out side of a little town call Harrietta. It's about 100 miles north of Grand Rapids and about 20 moles west of Cadillac.

We cannot make it to LCG this year.
