I've seen that this gathering has been there before around the same time each year. What's the weather been like that time of year? Also, did I pick a decent spot with #10? All I'm looking for is reasonably level. But, then, that's what you do with the leftover scraps of lumber from your build - use 'em for leveling, right? I booked yesterday for just two nights (23-24), but I think I'll try to add another night or two. I was looking at the online photo gallery of the park and I think I want to stay for a bit longer. Now, if I can just convince the wife....

We haven't been there alot and last year was minimal because the pandemic was in full wake up mode with uncertain travel restrictions etc... We used to go Beavers Bend every year at the same time and did that for 11 years but stopped when they closed the loop for renovations. I don't know the loop by heart but I do remember all those sites by the waters edge were great. Our group usually has what we call the party site where people gather and play dominoes and sit by the fire together and do the pot luck, you never know where it will be until we get there. Weather? It's April which means it will be absolutely perfect with a strong chance of all hell breaking loose! Who knows, spring is always unpredictable!
