Any Texans currently under construction? My wife and I are avid road trippers. Might we drop by? If you are in or near San Antonio, feel free to contact me. I'm willing to volunteer reasonable welding services where teardrops are involved. D. Tillery

If you're passing thru you're welcome to drop by. I'm only 4 miles from the interstate. Lemme know ahead of time and I'll tell you if I'm available. I have a weird schedule, I'm usually off on Sun, Mon, Tue.

WOW! I can't believe that I started this thread in Apr '04. I have not been able to make the time to build my tear but I have a heck of a set of plans from reading T&TTT.

I will be moving to Providence, RI in June. My wife got an offer there that we could not turn down. I can do what I do almost anywhere. I hope it will include building that tear.

I'm not building, but about to start rebuilding an original. I'm just outside Victoria right off of Hwy 59.

That's great. Where did you get your hands on an original? Can you post photos of it?

I'm still in the process of moving my business to Providence. I have not had time to build but I've acquired some parts. Maybe I'll find the time before next summer.

Quite a project and a cool place to start.

Any idea how old it is? Homebuilt? Any other history on it?
