A logo?

Postby Cindy » Sun Mar 26, 2006 10:58 pm

Hey, Guys,
This is a logo that I made that might be a good one to represent our group. Several of us are getting together pretty regular and I thought having a sign or logo for T-shirts might be good. What do you think of this image?

Cindy, I like it a lot..... I am going to email the one you sent me with a minor change. Tell me what you think.

Everyone, Thanks to Cindy's hard work we have signs to post on each teardrop / tent/ vehicle when you arrive. I am personalizing them and laminating this week.

pretty cool Cindy, have you thought about forming this as a chapter of the Tearjerkers. Count me in as a charter member and we can all talk about it this weekend at BB

Cool beans, Cindy!!! Can't wait to meet everybody this weekend at BB.

The heading on the main forum page says
Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas & Oklahoma but I like that you included Mexico and Missouri and Kansas.

Seems like there have been a few new members even since I joined, especially Miriam and Hap, etc.

Yep, that's what Mike says our group is... but "South Central" seems like it should include Kansas and MO.

Scott & Sylvia are coming to Beavers Bend and I know WarPony and Rayvillian and S4son and others will likely make it to Grand Lake this fall.

Looks really nice, but I tend to agree with Backwoodsman in that it ought to match up with the South Central on the T&TTT site.

Thanks for comments

Hey guys, thanks for the comments. I guess I do need to make a change and add New Mexico but I would think those who join us for gatherings would be included. Seems like to me we can be who we want to be. Isn't that what teardropping is all about?

I just made it so we could have signs at Beavers Bend - Linda is making those. I'm certainly not in charge of anything here.

We can talk if you like.

I think you could add New Mexico but otherwise leave it as is...as you say "...we can talk"..................................... 8)

Sorry, I didn't really mean to "stick my nose in it". Probably should have kept my opinion to myself.

I guess when someone from another state comes to a gathering, then we could add them in. What kind of acronym can we make for that? Or this weekend, we could brainstorm for some kind of tearjerkers name or something.

Last fall, there was the first MO-KAN gathering, and they let me come from OK . I thought that might be the start of a MOKAN (Missouri, Okla, Kansas, Arkansas & Neighbors) group but nothing ever came of it.

Thanks for making the signs!! :applause: I"d be honored to hang one on my lousy dome tent, since the tear is not near ready .
