Beaver's Bend Spring 06'

Beaver's Bend was a big success. We had 39 adults, 7 kids and 1 dog, 9 tears and 6 tents. We came from 4 states, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas and Missouri. A few showers and thunderstorms didn't dampen our fun though. The camp host was nice enough to group us together at one end of a long circle. We were able to make use of a pavillion in the middle of the circle since it was not reserved. We had a great pot luck supper on Saturday.
A few pics were taken and I'm sure they will be posted soon.
I am looking to making this an annual event and hopefully filling all of the sites in this circle.

I hope in the future my wife and I can come (who knows maybe the kids too). But for now I sure would like to here more and see some pics.
I went there as a little kid but haven't been back. Sure was pretty there.
I'm only 60-70% complete with mine but OK I'm on tear-time.
Show the pics.

Actually I saw that in the captions before I got to this thread. Got a kick out of that....You're lucky that I wasn't there or we'd have to, throw down!

I just wanna thank Linda for all her efforts at making this amemorable weekend...a little rain Sat afternoon couldn't dampen the spirits of this group. This is a beautiful park and I hope the SouthCnetral group makes this an annual event and we can fill the whole circle and really leave the campground hosts wondering...WE(the wife(aka the poor girl) and I) really enjoyed meeting everyone and kudos to everyone for the potluck supper Sat nite...I am still full...once again, lotta thanks to Linda

Madjack, I agree! We need to make this an annual event and fill the whole circle up. We can do it with the rate that teardrops are growing down here.
Linda did do a great job with this and let's not forget Julie who organized our fantastic breakfast. We certainly didn't want for food this weekend, we were all well fed.

Nice pics, have a good day.
That would be great. Glad to have ya join in.
