Cindy and I are heading to Atlanta State Park near Texarkana tomorrow. Anyone up that way might want to get their umbrellas dusted off. :eyebrows:

Lenny and I will be working with medical team during the Bulldog 100. Hope to see you there. We'll be easy to spot; we'll be wearing bright ugly chartreuse colored shirts saying "medical" on the back. I swear they glow in the darK

Ok, so I figured it out!

I have figured it out. I was reminded today of the story of the bluebonnets. An Indian tribe was in a draught. A young girl sacrificed her only possession - a doll - to get rain for her tribe. In the morning, she woke to find a field of bluebonnets and rain.
I am going to paint The Bluebonnet Tear when we get back if it rains this weekend. Either that or rent it out!

Cindy-
I don't have to actually go camping to make it rain. Just planning a camping trip does it. Or washing my car. Both of my cars were detailed this morning. About 1:00 p.m., my hubby called to say 'Thanks'. Yep...... raining like you wouldn't believe. At least the pasture and gardens got a good drink......

Karol

P.s. Are you camping anywhere near Wister, Oklahoma? We have a family reunion there this weekend.

Dave and Cindy,

Your camping plans are working for the South Texas coast--it rained 11 inches in Corpus last night. I retract my earlier invitation for you to come to south Texas to camp. If you were to plan to come here, it might bring a hurricane!! But I might contact you the next time it looks like we are going into a drought. Hope you have a dry weekend.

Dave and Cindy,

PLEASE come down to the San Antonio area...we got a little rain this week, but we need a lot more. They predict we may be in water rationing next week. :(

Is the Bluebonnet Tear lurking near Texarkana???

The weather was great over the weekend, but for the past 2 days we have had monsoon episodes off and on. Is the Bluebonnet Tear lurking nearby???

You'll probably have to camp out in the driveway.
