just wondering if anyone lived near Astoria Or. I'm starting a build and could use any help I can get or get any great info on parts dealers near me. As I do love the internet I like to keep as much of my buying of parts local or in the same state. anyone in the northwest have any places they regularly buy parts?
I would love to see some other teardrop trailers in person also. I usually see manufactured ones, but not to many hoe built ones.
thanks
D

Hey!

We're over the hill from you in Beaverton. If you make it our way sometime, let me know. Our TD is home built and you're welcome to take a look.

The trailer is ours--the Packard isn't

There's a guy in Molalla who makes our chassis. We didn't build on a Harbor Freight trailer. For about the same amount of money, you can have a hand-built trailer on welded joints. Also we do a lot of business with Curtis Trailer Sales in Hillsboro.

thats aswesome. i go to beaverton pretty often. i usually make a day trip out of it. guitare center, rivercity fly shop, harbor frieght, rei, trader joes, whole foods. ( whole paycheck). next time Ill send you a message before I run out there. thanks for the invite.
So I have money to build a trailer, but not money to waste buying stuff I didn't need. that happend on another project. I spent money on stuff I later found out wouldn't work. that sucks. I'm trying not to make that mistake this time.

Rivermouth,

We are in Astoria,
even though we purchased our trailer maybe we can get together to help each other.
