Don't know if I formatted that correct. Here is what weather.gov says:
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 51.
Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29.
Saturday: A chance of rain and snow showers before noon, then rain showers likely. Partly sunny, with a high near 49. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Saturday Night: Rain and snow showers likely before midnight, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27. Chance of precipitation is 60%.
Sunday: A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 43.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27.
Monday: Partly sunny, with a high near 49.

Edit: Take this with a grain of salt. Meteorologists here don't know squat either. Generally I'd say if they think a storm will happen it will, they could just be up to 2 days off on when it comes by.

I am hoping to make it still. Up in the air at this point.

Weather is looking more like normal for this time of year. Nights will be chilly. No precipitation expected.

I have a splitting maul if your wood is in big chunks.

I have cb and a baofeng with frs channels programmed in. I usually monitor ch 19 (cb).

I'll be heading up Friday morning, taking the route from Snowville to Malta.
If anybody wants to buddy up along the way, im game.

I a hope I can get sites in the 24-30 range. Up in the reserve not the Smoky Mountain Camp Park near Almo. You can grab a map at the headquarters in Almo.

If I get there tomorrow and need to change plans there is a bulletin board at the Bath Rock parking lot and pay station. I will try to remember to take materials to post something.

Thanks Randy, Right now it looks like I'll get there Thursday evening. I'll have the Tourette and probably a Subaru.
It'll probably be the only Tourette in the park.

Saturday morning would probably be when I make it if all goes well.
