Thanks George for setting this trip up.
Had a great time seeing interesting area of Utah that is seldom visited.
Cheyenne had a great time running around and playing with Iroh, even though it took a bit for the dogs to get used to each other.

Now for the :pictures:

I came in from the south of I-80. The route takes you on part of the Lucin Cut-off. Just happened to get this great picture of a fright train heading east. Meet George at the north end of the New Foundland rage and headed to camp

Camp was in the Sleigh valley and if you look close you might see camp in the middle of the picture

168835

Sunrise Wednesday

168836

Airing down tires as the terrain got rougher heading to an abandoned mine

168837

Bob checking out an old hoist engine

168838

View from the mine

168839

Stopping on top of Big Pass

Thanks to all who came along for the adventure. It was a great time. Hope to get the video out in the next couple of months.

While we we're all talking on the radio a app was mentioned to use for ham license, I couldn't remember the name.

Classes here are down in provo. If I could do it online would be great.

Started editing my footage last night before the free trial expires. I'll wait until your video gets released to upload it.

What program are you using? I am using Shotcut. It is a free, open source editor. It is pretty powerful and you don't have to worry about licensing for use other than personal.

I have started to edit the trip. I am about 3/4 done with day 1 at this point. I might have it out this weekend, but probably more likely next week.

Video pad. It seems to work well with my computer. I went through 3 or 4 other editors.
Just picked up a gopro for smoother footage. Can't wait to start using it.

I've been home recovering from covid fatigue and finally finished my video along with 3 others.
Can't wait to see your part 2.

I'll wait to post mine until yours are done.

Sorry to hear about the covid. It sucks! I was down 5 weeks last September.
