IRG2.0 Registration Going Fast... (Sold Out)

Postby Dean in Eureka, CA » Sat Jan 26, 2008 7:47 pm

Just a note to any and all that don't frequent the Southwest section very often...
This year's event, which happens once every two years will sellout soon if registration stays steady at it's current pace.
If a trip to the redwoods for this event is in your plans this summer... Might wanna get signed up before it's too late.
We'd hate to have to tell somebody, "Sorry..." because they didn't get the information soon enough.

Something important that Dean didn't mention...it's not because there isn't room or the number is going to be limited because of the organizer. It's an insurance/county thing...We are only allowed so many people in that venue. Doug

Thanks for that info Doug. I'd kinda wondered if the 250 was an arbitrary number or if there was a reason for it. Now I know ;)

I've been to weddings there and I've seen 1,500 people in there at one time.
I shared that with the county's accountant and he said, "Yes, but that's shorterm use only, not overnight guests." :?

I was hoping to make it down there but took a serious look at my budget and decided it would be better if I saved this trip for another time. Maybe IRG 3. I've got a bunch of work to do around here this summer but just don't have the funds to that and a major trip. If by some miracle, I win a lotto before July, I would love to come down. 8)
