So Cal Tear Jerkers camping gatherings?

Are the So Cal Tear-Jerkers planning any camping outings anywhere? I can't seem to find any info regarding any of their Gatherings. Thanks.

Just as an idea and a friendly nudge. Why don't you organize (with the help of a few friends - you must have a bunch of 'em) a gathering in your area? It needn't be elaborate. I'm (still) teardropless and pretty much a newbie. With help from a couple of friends we've done two SLO Gatherings that were plenty of fun and well attended.

Do you know any good places to have one? I Googled campgrounds near you. Several seemed interesting. Perhaps Ortega Oaks, Caspers, O'Neill Regional Park, or Tucalota Springs? It'd take a local, like you, to really know the good places.

Choose a good location and time and then announce it here and elsewhere.
Roly, you might be very pleasantly surprised how many people would come and thank you for setting one up.

If'n your just looking to get away, there is a So. CA, Star-Party (Astronomers Gathering)

In Borego Springs, Anza Borego Desert (Salt N Sea Area) on Halloween weekend, great people, love to share the view of the sky with some of the best equipment around.

Last I checked there were about 40 RV sites left, resort has been sold out for weeks, there will be several RV's and TT's, sorry to say at this point, I'll have the only Tear there.
