Sounds like you all had a good time of it! Cathy and I were all over Az for 2 weeks where the weather was considerably warmer by the looks of it... Not sure my Ugs and shorts would have been warm enough.

September is coming, do we have a date yet?

Randy and I just pulled in after our week long post-'glyphs trip to Zion and Bryce. Had a great time everywhere. Will post pics tomorrow after laundry is done! After we left you all and went down to Cathedral Gorge by Pananca. It was REALLY windy and cold of course, but the campground there is GREAT. I highly recommend! Nice sites and a WARM (I thought of you Kay with your heater) bathrooms with hot free showers! We will return there on another, warmer trip. After arriving at Zion the next day, it rained and winded furiously for about two hours. We went to a movie (Avatar) on the 6 story move screen there, and when we came out the rain and wind stopped, the stars were out, and the rest of the trip was beautiful! highs in the 60s, no more rain or snow or even much wind. Decided to go to Bryce after all for one night (glad we did, amazing) and then stayed at Great Basin last night. Cold, but not much wind and no snow or rain, so it was fine. A good trip overall. Using our mugs everyday! Had fun at every point. Kay, I want the chower recipe! Was it Dean's ? :applause:

John, I think you just might have your Mary's mixed up. I don't see her on the roster. But I do see little Mary on the list.

Hi Teardrop Friends,
It's me, Mary Van, the mug lady. I would love to attend the IRG but not enough time in my life to do all that I would like! Planning on attending
The Fun Run on old Route 66 this April 29-May 1. My first for this event, too.
Happy folks are enjoying the mugs. I love making them!! :D
Please keep me posted on events that are not too far from home (Phoenix area). Discovering the teardrop fun has been a real positive in my life.
You are great folks!

Hello Mary, mark your calender for the first weekend in December when a bunch of us from AZ & California get together at Buckskin Mountain S.P. in Parker. That's if that S.P. is still open.

You can see the pictures I took of the 2008 gathering
HERE.

Mary V: Just trying to make you feel loved! (but I will be watching to see what events you are going to... and if you are going to introduce a line of teardrop mugs and sell them on the forum... 8) just kidding, that would be a lot of work)
