Hello,

Folks that are planning on coming to the Bear lake gathering in Garden City, Utah. Should know that...

If you are not into dutch oven cooking, yet, that's o.k...

Just bring something you would like to share with the group for a dinner meal for the pot luck on Saturday.

Maybe, at our next gathering we will have a dutch oven speaker tell us about DO cooking and make a dish to show and tell us...

Paul

BTW: you may post the dish you are making for the pot luck dinner at
Salty Teardrops. Thanks

"The game "Who will Pick-Up the T@B" will not be played at the 2nd Autumn Run.

But, if someone has a game we all could play... Please email me and maybe we can do something with it for the event.

As long as it's not throwing eggs at me. I think we could use it!"

Looks like the KOA has a horse shoe pit. That, we can use for a game at the 2nd autumn run.

I have a prize for the winner. But, don't know the rules to hores shoes...

So, if someone is planning on come to the gathering and wants to manage the game... Please email me.

Other wise, we can play for fun!

Hello all,

Pre-Registration ends next Saturday September 1, 2007.

Again, we have people from over five states and even Canada, coming to the gathering in Garden City, Utah.

If you have not registered for the event. Please drop me a line. I would not want to run short on anything at the last min.

A few people are coming for Saturday only and would like to see the trailers... You are welcome to come and visit with us and meet the group. But, you will need to register with me at the event or even better. Before September 1, 2007.

Mike Robinson is performing for the Utah Salty Teardrops group. Not for the KOA campground. He has asked that we (his people and I) charge ten dollars each for non-register person to see his show. I am still working on the details with Mike.

See you in Garden City, Utah!

Paul sounds like you have a great weekend planned. Looking forward to it. All I have to do is figure out how to get there with minimum freeway driving. See you on the 14th. :applause:  Jerry

Horseshoes Anyone?

Postby Yogi Bear » Tue Aug 28, 2007 11:20 pm

Hello All,

I just found the Official Horseshoe Pitching Rules by the NHPA online.

The game is eazy to understand and hard to play, they say...

So, for those that want play for prize. I could run the game over two
days Friday and Saturday with the tie breaker on Sunday.

See you in Garden city, Utah

Hello All,

I talked with manager of the Bear Lake, KOA...

They tell me they have lots of room in the campground this time of year.
(over 200)

There should be no problems if more trailers arrive that weekend.

When you arrive be sure to tell the KOA staff. That you are with
Utah Salty Teardrops Group. They will place you near the group, if you like.

Also, there may be a group discount for us when we arrive at check in.

See you in Garden City, Utah,
Paul

I have only just started my Tear....I was hoping to be further along but got delayed getting my Chasis welded. I have a temporary deck on so that I could use it to haul my camping gear for my vacation. I was thinking about dropping up to have a gander at completed Teardrops.

I am only Free for Saturday is that okay?

If needs be I could haul up my chasis, it pulls like a dream.
