I think you've just passed all the snow on to us. Thanks for getting this organized. We were really sorry to have missed the first one. Every time I mention taking a day off Sylvia insists that we save our vacation days for the redwoods. We are really looking forward to it.

Dean, I'm looking forward to seeing how you've perfected the prime rib!
How fun! I can't wait.

Well, Deano has arrived at the public works for the 5 day campout. First in line
I'm towing my trailer down there shortly, gonna let Dean borrow it for now as I'm still fighting of some sort of bug that hit me hard yesterday.
Hoping to get better soon enough to help out down there.

Neat...
Joanie came down late this afternoon, so I could run home and take a shower. (I'm ripe)
She asked that I hurry, because it would be dark soon and cold.
My hot water heater went on the blink sometime between Friday and today... Can't get the pilot to stay lit and besides... My glasses are down at the public works... Can't see crap.

The Teardrop Marathon

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Mon Dec 31, 2007 10:42 pm

:D Kudos go to Dean who is now on his fourth night of sleeping out (Teardrop style) while waiting in line. Right now, New Year's Eve, gathering together in a parking lot party behind the Public Works Dept. Today was a sunny day down by the bay and more people/groups began arriving early this morning to save their spot in line. It's getting to be a lively group and we appreciate our locals who have dropped by to say hello in person, and those of you signing in on the forum. Tomorrow, New Year's Day, will be the day to convert those hanging around to Teardropping and/or Dutch Oven Cooking as we'll be preparing a 7 lb. prime rib in the parking area to eat right there,.....while watching football... on color TV. Ah, the Joy of Teardropping. It's coming up to the last of the year and end of line marathon. I am CERTAIN we will get the dates we want...but no job is certain until All the paperwork is done and signed o'dark early (6:30 am) Wednesday. So keep on letting us know how you are doing and who will be coming. We think of many of you often and talk about the good times had and those yet to come....

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL :P

:R See ya at the IRG 2.0 tentatively scheduled for July 2008  :applause: :applause:

I've been thinking of you all there at the Pamplin Bowl; hopin' you SCORE bigtime tomorrow morning. Sounds like you've made the best of your tough job out there, color tv, prime rib, all the best!

I just got dropped off by some aliens from space 51 in Death Valley. i had a nice time with them, but just kinda like hanging around my refrigerator a lot now. hope I can transfer this addiction to an ice chest as teardrop season arrives.

Looking forward to the Bowl results tomorrow. My boys from Troy just took it, sorry to the Illini!!! (BTW: that Pete Carroll is H-O-T!!)

:D :D
