Cliff, what an amazing set of pix!! I can't believe all the details you captured. I'm surprised you found time to eat with all that shooting you did.

Really great job!! :applause: :applause:

Thanks for being such a contributor to IRG 2.0 I nominate you for Best Being in most Places at one Time!! (we'll need to make a bigger plaque for that one, I guess...)
A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour!

Sue.

I am glad you enjoyed the photos. I heard a rumor that some people were line dancin', and missed out on that activity. I assume that you had something to do with that.

One reason I do not pursue photography as a business, then my hobby becomes work. When a friend or family requests me as photographer for weddings and such, I always oblige to be the secondary photographer at no charge. There seems to be a certain amount of pressure being the main photographer. I almost missed the shot of Gage getting his Lifetime Achievement award due to battery depletion, and pulled out my pocket camera to get the shot.

While I appreciate the good comments, I would be happy to coordinate with a few willing photographers, i.e. Luce. A few people were sportin' nice cameras. Pool the photos before leaving IRG to a laptop, and I can upload to a central album, giving each photographer credits for their shots. In this manner, photographers can share responsibility for selected events, and have more time for the creative photo aspects. Oh yes, and balance holding the cameras with blueberry toppings for the waffle eating contest, err, uh I mean cooking contest.

One suggestion, is to schedule photo shoots of people in front of their own trailer. So we can match the trailer with the faces. It becomes a blur for me to remember everyone's name and which trailer. With a posted schedule by areas of the campground, owners can tidy up, and get their teardrop in a presentable state. Take an additional picture of a feature that stands out most in their build (owners choice).

Next time I am bringing a tall ladder! Inside info for Dean... :D

P.S. Luce, love to see da pics, and if you need a place to post, you can add on your own albums on my photo site.

Why a ladder? Do pics look better from a downward angle?

Dan,
I wondered the same thing when Cliff wanted to climb on top of the Cookshack to take the group photo... Cliff said the faces would show up better from a high angle since the group was so large and he was right.

Cliff,
Just let me know what size ladder you need and I will bring it.

Yeah, what they said and more. Cliff, you did an amazing job of capturing the activities and there were lots! I look forward to Luce and Others adding on their favorites. If you have an idea about the photos and want to make it so, follow Cliff's suggestions and it will...just like magic. Thanks so much,
Joanie

Cliff
I just got a chance to look at the pictures you took at the IRG, and I must say you are very good at capturing images at just the right time. The best, in my oppinion, is the group photo, simply because a friend of mine and myself are making faces. However, all of the pictures are very good :)

Colton,

Appreciate the good words, and glad you liked the pictures, especially yours. I had my event hat on that weekend, and hope to do more creative photography next time. We all enjoyed the instrument sessions, and hopefully there will be more of the same next time.
