Steve...I plan on having either Sue or Lee with me in my space, as I will be arriving earlier and while I can't speak for Mike A. I would bet that he would be willing to have either one at his site also...we camp together regularly....so 4 tears in 2 spaces....just need to figure out where to put the Tow vehicles if they push it. Hi Steve,
I just received a call from Juan Al Dana (Van Nuys) and he would like to go to the gathering. Please put him on the waiting list. He said he will share a site with some one if that helps.

Thanks,
Chris

I like Doug's plan!! I do like to camp with Doug: he's always got some hot water going for me when i wake up. Next I have to train him to stir in my instant coffee, add a bit of milk and be waiting at my teardrop door when I open it

I better keep quiet or he'll be sending that monkey over to wake me up and i bet the monkey doesn't do coffee very well... :?

I figure between the 4 of us we have 4 spaces, room for 12 vehicles, so if others use our space we can spread our tow vehicles around.

teardroppers: good people.
A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour!

Ken, nice looking trailer. Do you have an AC hidden in it, black tear in Las Vegas? :?

Many miles and many tears. Times were hard but now they're changing.

SLO gathering

Postby Ken Fincher » Wed Aug 22, 2007 1:07 am

DAN: No I did not put one in we try to go were it is cooler, but I do plan to put one in my next TD, I picked the material to build a flatbed trailer for my next TD last week. I will probably build two at the same time, I have few peaple that have been hounding me to sell my black TD, I kind of hate to until I have another one built.

3000+ miles & have not had hot night in it as of yet. knock on wood :)

Hey Ken!

Another Las Vegasite! It won't be long and we'll be able to start a Vegas Teardrop group. My housemate is starting her tear too. There's going to be a lot of sawdust in town.

I'm taking the Dawg down to LA this weekend to a Dutch Oven gathering. It looks like a fun event. Your album reflects your love of traveling. Some really nice photos too!

Hope to meet you and your wife along the line. If you get to attend the SLO gathering, I'll be there too.

Safe journies!

Joanne:

About the International DOG event:

Know you will have a good time when trailer is on the road going to the event.
Will Kelly be with you and the little ones?

Oh would you please say hello to Corliss Tyler for me while your there?
She is a wealth of knowledge and I appreciated her advice at the last DOG.

Dean,

I will say hi for you! She is a long-time friend and a great lady. It's been a while since I've been able to see her so I'm REALLY looking forward to it.

I'm going to change pace a bit and do breads this trip. Biscuits, corn bread, & herb-garlic rolls. Nothing fancy but it should be good.

Hey Steve!

I was going to drop you a hello last night, but I got tired and fell asleep. I'll be sure to say HI to Corliss for you and am looking forward to chatting with her.

I'm going to be taking Abbie and Hoss on this trip. I haven't decided who gets to go the the SLO gathering yet. (I have to try to bring this post back on topic. ) Seriously though, I'm counting the days until the SLO gathering. I want to take my chair and sit on the beach the whole time!

Take care,
Joanne
