Sorry to hear about your dad Keith. But glad to hear things are now going in the right direction. See you all up there. Damn, I just happened to think, that's next week. Think I've lost a couple of months somewhere. Seems like Christmas was only a few weeks ago. Time sure fly’s when your having fun.

P.S. Did someone mention cookies?

Thanks to all of you. I know that if there is anyway possible for him to come up there this year he will. We're off to see him in now and I will tell him that you're all thinking of him. I'm sure that he'll appreciate it.

Here's a picture we took of him on Wednesday while he was helping us work on Dave's trailer. I know that he loves to get together with Norman and I to work on projects.

Good news. My dad is doing well. The doctors have checked him and don't believe that he has any heart damage. He should be released from the hospital tomorrow. His doctors said that they don't see any reason that he shouldn't be able to come to Shasta. His only limitation is that he can't lift anything over two pounds.

See you all in a few days.

Sorry Doug; I have dibs on Sue's share of the cookies. She called me and said so.

See you there.

On Grants site "Destinations" there is a mention of dutch oven sampler Friday night...does anyone know anything about this? Working out the details for eats with some other people and this was brought up. Doug

I don't have a clue what it is ,
but I am planning on bringing the ingredients to make Chile Verde on Friday and there will be enough to share.
We are heading up to Redding tomorrow (Tues) spending Wed with David's sister and then heading on up on Thursday.
See everybody then.
Martha ;)

Doug, a few years back the TriTNW group would have an impromptu DO pot luck (something like what Dean did last year) on Friday night. That's the group that put out the word about me always having a fork & spoon in my pocket. All I was doing was following the instructions given. They invited me and said not to worry about bringing any thing but something to eat with (I was up there without Tanya that year - I had more darn wives looking after me - it was great, there was food everywhere) ;) . So that just might be what Grant is talking about.
