 So when are we going back??????

Did I hear someone mention a few of us might try the Glyphs out in the middle of winter.

I think if we do a winter run we should camp at the hot pots if we could access them.

You can probibaly picture yourself sipping some MOOSE DROOL while kicking back in a nice and hot thermal pool of water & maybe even some nice hot Baileys & Coffee in the morning.

Or you might even picture SD Steve at the first Glyph's & forget the whole idea. :snow

As Steve will point out, we already did the Winter one... :snowstorm:

However, my trailer is in the driveway, the bed is made, the (snow/sun) easy-up and the chairs are packed, the hitch is on the truck...Cathy and I sat in our trailer, drank a beer and watched the sun go down after work yesterday...give me 13 hours notice (one to get food and 12 for the drive) and I'm there! :coffee: :Flippin Burger: :campfire:

Know what????....we ought to keep an eye on the weather this winter....if we get a stretch of decent temps, maybe a run out there would be in order. I'd be up for it. I didn't check with the Farmers Almanac but it probably would be a short notice thing. Not for the fair weather campers probably, as in the high desert it can change in big hurry, shorts in the day....down jackets at night. It'd be a good experience and a great story down the road! Actually Doug, I believe you just discribed
the First Gathering at the Glyphs, so maybe March, April
Surprising just how Cold WINTER in the high desert can be, remember the parkas Karen and I had, those were purchased specifically for winter astronomy nights in the high desert.

I've already set the dates for the 2nd Annual Gathering at the 'Glyphs - Honoring the Ancestors ... it'll be April 1-4, 2010 ... just haven't made the formal announcement, yet, nor put it up on our DESTINATIONS! Page. Yep, it's Easter Weekend ... that's been the plan all along ... so, if the Spirit moves you ... ...!

Hope to see you there!
