I'm new to this forum...but I live in Idyllwild, the nearest town to Hurkey Creek campground. I've been scheming up plans for my first teardrop build and will be starting soon. I won't have a trailer ready for action by then but I'd sure like to stop in and say hi, kick some tires.

below ccorliss43's name you will find a pm click on it and email them. They are good folks and put on a good gathering. We went to the first one but rearly travel south and when we do it is to Owens Valley.
Ask if you can bring a tent. We did that up north once before my trailer had begun and leaned about a special kind of trailer camping. With very special people.
My first camping trip with my trailer was much like that. It was just over the hill the first SLO Gathering.
Good luck on your build. There are lost of folks near you who have trailers who will offer you some ideas.
Say hi in the Newbies section and check out the Tear Jerkers we site under TD Friendly Websites at the top of the page.
Have fun camping and making new friends.
