Hey grant, looking for two 40" or so lengths of drip molding for over our doors. Great if you can bring them to 'Glyphs. Also, we have a t-handle for hatch we didn't use we would be willing to give back.

I'd keep an eyeball on the weather. I left on this Thurs. last year and this morning I've got a foot of snow and chain laws in effect. Check local Austin NV conditions and pack accordingly. Doug

Yup, we will. flurries floating around right now, but typical Nevada the disappear before hitting the ground. Think good weather thoughts for us! 8)

i'm watching, i'm watching. the new car has 4wd, but i don't trust it (or us) towing the trailer in too crazy conditions.

if we have to bail on this one, this will be the third time we've had to ditch going to the glyphs. grr.
we'll be out somewhere this weekend, i need a fix. the big question is where.

I could not resist throwing in some Cannon Ball Aderly.

Weather does not look like it is smiling upon us. I am almost loaded up plan on leaving my house by 8 am tomorrow. Need to stop in town for last minute provisions and get a tire fixed.

Firewood and warm clothing is the word of the day. See you tomorrow.

Ok, update from the local . I am in Lovelock, about 200 miles northwest of Austin. We will be traveling via 80 to Fallon, then 50 on out. Although it is cold right now, the flurries were just pretend today, you could barely call it snow (it was sunny at the time, looked like some soap flakes blowing around). It is currently a little breezy with clear skys and sun. I am currently watching the Reno weather report. It has clearedup completely over the pass with no road problems in past 12 hours. Current temp in Reno is 46 degrees with some wind in Reno. No actual measurable precip. today from Sacramento all the way across NV. No real expectation of anything coming close to sticking to the ground right now for the next several days. Austin is predicted to be a little colder tonight than Reno. Possible storms again on Sunday, but nothing predicted right now to effect travel. We will be there regardless, leaving home @ 2:00 arrival Austin 4:30 or 5.

Courtney, don't be skerd! I really think you will be fine. The nice thing about spring storms are they don't last and don't stick, usually! I will post the local weather tomorrow and Friday morning. Right now I am more concerned that the wind stops. I don't like wind!

Here is the current weather photo of Lovelock from my front door. We are a little lower in elevation than Austin, so usually a little warmer.

Looks like March has gone out like a lion and the weather will be better for you guys. The Austin forcast is much better than Reno for the next 5 days lol. Have fun folks!

It is looking like I will not be able to make it.
If I do I will most likely be Sat.

We've been hauling a bunch of shop equipment
today that we picked up & I'll be moving more stuff
first thing in the morning.
(This stuff is not from the Calif. based company that I was suppost to meet with this week, They suppost to contact me tommarow !Hopefully!)
The stuff I'll be moving in the morning is from another shop closing up.

Then I suppost to go to St George Ut. Friday to do some horse tradeing on a 20' Car hauler (This is a deal I cannot pass up)
It will hopefully work out so I can go to St. George tommarow. :worship:

If by chance I do not make it, Everyone be safe & have a great time.

Ken
P.S. Grant Jan was able to get some vacation time aproved for the week of the Dam Gathering & the Redwoods Gathering (IRG) :applause:

okay, everything's staged and ready to go.

i have a phone conference in the morning (who knows how long that will take), after which, we leave.

according to roy, "we are not punching a time clock, this is vacation."
i.e. it's not a race, we drive slow and enjoy ourselves. so hopefully, we'll make it there before sundown.

speaking of enjoying the ride, should we take 50 or 80 over? (i'm partial to 50...it's prettier)

Kay, that would be Lahanton and a local hot spot for migratory birds. Did you see any while pelicans? Cool and clear with NO WIND today! Local forecast on TV this am for the trip into Nevada is scattered snow showers with no accumulation (probably while it is sunny again  ). Just about packed up with our new tongue box and side tables. One more day of work  , plus 1/2 day tomorrow and we are off.
