Sam and Kat.

Hope to see you at the Glyphs. A great group of trailer trash.

I have the clear from work to take those days off so I should be there with my home built tear.

I never saw a teardrop up close until I built one. Would have been a lot better if I have seen some up close. You can see some real ones, ask opinions about them, what we will do on the next one.

And don't worry about offending any one with your rig. I do hope you can take the ribbing you will probably get.

8)

No problem with the ribbing. It's expected. Maybe I should wash the toyhauler with hot water first and see if it shrinks a bit?? ;)

We hope to be able to stop by. If not, next year maybe we'll be there with a new teardrop...

If you are interested in tears, it would be well worth your time to drop by and camp with the group, last fall was incredible, nice temps, no bugs! Bring an appetite....no one leaves hungry! If'n it were me, and you have a 30' toyhauler....I'd walk the road through the campground first before I dragged it through. There is parking for larger vehicles up at the main entrance parking area. You may be OK, but rather than get yourself into a situation....I'd check. Hope you all have fun out there! The temps have been great lately...got them on my home page. Doug

Good point on the road Doug. I done forgot about that. Don't hardly pay it any attention with my teardrop that was made for rough road.

There are a couple of longer spots out on the far end of the camp that the 30' footer would fit, there was a long one there (but don't think it was a 30'er) for a bit last September. It could be a bit dicey driving around on the upper leg of the loop.

You'll have a great time!

So, if the whether is bad, how many teardrops can you fit in your toyhauler? We'd really like you then ! 8) :R

Doug is referring to the circle of sites road, but, Randy, I'd like to more about the drive in from the highway...

I don't mind "whoops" but dislike too long-O-washboard. Do the washboard sections come and go? or is it consistent from visit to visit? And how long is the distance in from the highway?

Thanks!

The drive in from the Highway is fine. Unless it rains and it gets mushy. It is probably less than 1/2 mile and I don't remember washboards, just some minor ruts where the water collects in the road. But then I don't remember much about the 60's either.

Randy

You remember just fine

Road from the highway is well graded, but does get mushy after a good rain or snow

road is pretty much straight with a slight rise to the camp-sites

we had a couple good sized motor homes go through, but but, the loop might get tight with the long trailer

might be best to walk it first

Cathy mentioned that the road is challenging when riding it, while it is snowing, on a bicycle. :?

As to how may teardrops can you get in a 30' toy hauler when it's 11 degrees outside? Lets see, you put the 4x8s inside the 5x10s, then you put the 5x10s inside...

Wolffarmer is happy to camp in the cold again, but then, what would you expect from a guy from Idaho? ;) Hey, Randy, have a Moose Drool for me, Ok!

ONLY ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am going to need a whole lot more than that. I will have just turned 60 and been working on a church farm, I plan on feeling little pain for a while. So if anyone wants a Moose Drool had better get it early. They will be in the cooler of my TV.
