How many teardrops can you fit inside a 30' toyhauler? Depends on how you let me stack them....

First though, we'll have to unload the boat/ trailer we'll have in there.

We will definitely walk the road before driving in. That's one reason we're thinking about a teardrop. Getting the 30 footer in really limits where we can go.

We were thinking of driving up thursday afternoon, but Kat's job precludes that. So, we'll be heading out friday morning.

OK folks...

You can count on two more (Candi, me and 2 dogs).
Plan is the leave Thursday early afternoon, try to get through LA log jam and drive till I get tired or get to the Glyphs. I read there is no water at Camp. Is there a source close by? I would hate to haul water 500 miles if I can get some within 5 or 10 miles from camp.

Is anyone from SoCal going?

Saw a post by Kay about a pot luck??

Well, that all I can think of right now, see you Friday............
Save travel to all 8)

Hey Wolfgang....you're right, there is NO water at The Glyphs and the closest is probably in Austin 25 miles West. Some of us are planning on potluck Friday and Saturday 8) (Totally optional). Friday will probably be a Tri Tip Roast and Saturday some kind of Chicken so bring a side or two and we'll chow down... We're planning on arriving Friday around noonish, see ya there..!!!

I think there is water at the camp ground about 10 miles west of the Glyphs.

You're correct, John. There is water available at that campground.

I got most every thing loaded up and ready to go. Will head out early Friday morning and get there about 5ish, my time. I will be leading the caravan of one from Idaho.

I took the trailer to work today and weighed it on their scales. 1100# with all but perishable foods aboard.

aaaaaand life/work reaches up and snatches me back down. no go for the glyphs this time. (i was looking forward to being there during warm weather)

on the positive side, (and some of you may know this already) it gives me a chance to keep tinkering away on the design for build #2.
