Group Area at the Red Rock Restaurant & RV Park.

Postby Yogi Bear » Sat Oct 21, 2006 8:51 pm

Hello All,

I talked with the management at the Red Rock Restaurant & RV Park about using the group area and reserve it for us on May 11, 12, 13, 2007.

The group area is a very large loop with grass in the center and will hold a lot of trailers. I do not have that much cash to reserve it for us. :(

Sherry told me, that she would group us together in the group area... When we call to make our reservations at the Red Rock.

Just tell her or her staff that you are with the Tear Drop Group and would like to camp together with the others... Also, I plan to call Sherry with the names of the participants as they register with me for the camp out.

This way we can bunch up like the Wild Bunch at Robbers Roost!

How Many are coming to Hanksville?

Postby Yogi Bear » Thu Nov 02, 2006 10:07 pm

The best thing I can tell folks is...

That if you want to know how many will be at the camp out....

Is to register with me for free (while it's free) and show up and find out! That's what I have to do!!!

MOKI SEAKER asked "do you think we will have as many TD's in Hanksville,in May, as they Had in LA. over the week end? , Ah maybe half that many.? "

I get alot of phone calls and emails wondering the same.
They just want to know for some reason...

So, What's Up With That???

Jim,

I started mine last spring, was planning to have it done by the ITG in Minden. We ended up tenting it there :( (but still had a great time!). The last 2 camping trips we have taken were in a tent, and sleeping on the ground is geting old (or maybe it's just that we are getting old )
It should be done by May, I've been making slow but sure progress, and as long as it is roadworthy, we will bring it. Unfortunatly I don't have a garage to work on it in this winter, so I better get busy!

Say Tim, we're trying to fit your gathering into our calendar. There is a lot happening here in SoCal that month. We do love the Capitol Reef area.
