I'll be doing another prime rib in the 20"er that Shelly was so kind to pick up for me in Utah...
Got a cabled probe thermometer for it, so it should turn out perfect.

Will most likely do the Hawaiian Braided Bread again too.
Although Little Feather won't be completely finished, I'm shooting at having it road worthy for this event as well. :R

:o OMGosh! Time to pull out those stretchy pants again....the last DO gathering put 5 lbs. on my frame, and not always in the spot(s) that I'd have chosen myself.

TDN :R

Shelly,
Are yaa goin' to Mendocino???
Tomorrow's deal with the DO folk out at AW Way is a test run to get the prime rib to come out medium rare.
Got onr of those new fangled cabled probe deals and should be able to remove it at just the right moment. :worship:

If not to Mendo, I'll sure heck have it dialed come the next DG or IRG2.0...

Go for it

Postby Guy » Fri Jun 22, 2007 10:28 pm

Dino, you are the best. If the prime ribs are as good as they were at Shasta then many will be in luck.

Go for the Hawaiian bread. Tell Colton that if I could knead it then he can knead it.

I am back in LA. Took the bus down for my medical appt., arrived this morning. Hope to be going back up by Tuesday (with another car).

Until I see you again

Dean, That looks great. I may give you a call. I got my 20" delivered and I want to do a prime rib for my dad.

P.S. It ended up costing $70 delivered. Not too bad.
